ABOUT GOAL ARENA ///
Goal Arena Pte Ltd (Goal Arena) (previously known as GA Sports Club, GASC) was incorporated in Dec 2009 with the aim of creating a platform for amateur footballers to socialize through an organized network of friendly league competitions. Our focus was to promote constant awareness of fitness improvement through friendly football
competitions making it a win-win situation for all.
We established our first amateur football league in 2005 (formerly registered as Goal Arena Sports Club) because of our passion for football. After a couple of years off due to National Service (NS) we decided to take it a step further by establishing a more competitive league in 2009.
As of December 2016, with the continuous support from teams of diverse ethnicities, Goal Arena has been able to provide for more than 150 amateur football teams, the network and opportunity to participate in 11-a-side competitive amateur football within three league categories across eight divisions. We have also recruited on a regular basis the services of more than fifty certified referees to officiate our matches and reached the milestone of organizing more than 2,000 matches within eight years since incorporation.
Goal Arena manages three different league categories, namely the Saturday PM (Afternoon), Sunday AM (Morning) and Sunday PM (Afternoon) leagues. The respective categories are further classified into three divisions, namely the Northern, Eastern and Western divisions. All our league matches are played within the respective areas of division for the convenience of all players. Besides having convenience in accessibility, a Social division was also created to cater for less established and newly formed amateur football teams to have an experience of playing in a league format.
In addition to the leagues, Goal Arena also manages an island-wide Challenge Cup competition (World Cup format) which includes all teams in their respective division as well as invited guest teams to compete against each other.
