GA SUN AM League S11 Week 2 – Battle for first point (Athens vs Eusoffianos)

EASTERN

Last season Runner-up Marhaban Fc had a good start by grabbing 6 points on their first two games. Meanwhile, a very close win for Greats Fc against East Horizons Fc on their first game but a pity lose 1-2 against Marhaban Fc on their second game. IF Utd (Season 10 Social League Champion), which has just transferred from Social League, had a tough start after losing 1-4 on their first game against Tycco Utd but still managed to get one point from last season Runner-up (Challenge Cup) Shamrock Fc on their second game. The last season Winner for both League and Cup, Rendezvous Fc beat East Horizon Fc to start their journey in defending the title.

NORTHWESTERN

It was surprised that none of the teams grabbed full 6 points after two games played. With two matches behind, can Blackjack Fc, the Champion for last season and new team Kopite Warriors make it? Last season Runner-up Emo Fc grabbed 4 points and took the lead with slightly higher goal difference over Inazuma Fc and Tsunami Fc in NorthWestern Division. Tsunami Fc, which has just recently joined GA League, had the highest number of nine goals scored but also a highest number of eight goals conceded after a close win 5-4 against Barneys Fc and another draw 4-4 against Nam Dai Fc.

SOCIAL

After transferred from Eastern League, F17 Rangers enjoyed their games in Social League after 2 winning streaks and was successfully placed at the top of the table. The only one new team in Social League, Refugees Fc had also a good start with a big win 4-0 against Athens and a fair draw against Feca Fc. Unfortunately, Athens Fc and Eusoffianos were placed at the bottom of the table after losing both first and second game. It is very important for Athens Fc and Eusoffianos to build up the team spirits and secure a win on their next game. Athens Fc will play their third league game against Eusoffianos on 21 January 2018, who can grab the first league point? Let’s wait and see!
